The very first time anyone ever sees the Force used...its Force healing! We all se Obi-Wan kneel down next to Luke after the Sandpeople attack, placing his hand on Luke's forehead. Its not clear in context of first viewing, but that's because we hadn't yet had the Force explained to us in the storyline. But, we do know he was using the Force to heal Luke. This is tripple-verified. First is the evidence of our eyes when we rewatch ANH. Second is that in a later interview George Lucas was asked about the scene, and confirmef Obi-Wan's healing touch. Third, the novelization of ANH states, "Obi-Wan placed his hand on Luke's brow, and he awoke without so much as a headache."
